Should Teens Who Kill Others Go To Prison?
In my defense Teens should do the same amount of time that adults do. First I believe that a crime is a crime no matter by who. Teens need to learn that what they are doing is not right. I know that they were taught right from wrong, so they should know that taken a person life away is wrong. I believe that teens are doing what they are doing because they know that they will get a slap on the wrist, not caring about there record. Of teens surveyed at Curie 100% students say that teens who kill others should go to prison with adults. Some of their reasons was that teens need to take responsibility for their own action, or that they need to pay for taking someone else life from them. One person brought up something very interesting and that was if a person shows sign of wanting or threating to kill someone they should immediately get help before all of this happens. I agree with this person because someone could put a stop to it or talk to them and let them know that what they are doing is not right, but teens are able to think for themselves so they don't really care about what someone else is saying.

1. Do a lot of killing have sum to do with the video games that teens play today?
- When video games first came out they were addictive but today they are addictive and more violent then they were, making the people that play them more aggressive and violent.
2. Why do people kill?
- They feel powerless and the only way for them to feel like they are somebody is to get a gun and kill somebody, some do it for revenge, others do it because they are obsessed with guns, violent movies, or video games.
3. What can we do to prevent crimes?
- Restrict dangerous weapons, but there is really no way that we can stop killing in our neighborhood.
4. How do teens get a gun?
- Guns are either stolen from or pasted down by there friends or family or guns are cheap and you can purchase them from anybody anywhere.
5. What type of help do teens get that thought about killing someone?
-They just need someone to talk to, to let all of there emotions out. I've read that a lot of teens kill because of so much anger built up inside of them that they just find ways to make them feel better not thinking of the consequences, some people just need a guidance counselor.
